Joey turns 2!!!

I admit, Joey's second birthday was slightly overshadowed. His birthday was the same day as Elise's blessing. Luckily he's two, and didn't know the difference. And the good thing was that we had everyone already gathered for the small celebration!

The kid loves all things boy, and that includes trucks. So here you have it. (We were up pretty late just getting everything ready for Elise's blessing so I have to admit that I didn't spend nearly the same amount of time on this cake as I have others. Joey seemed not to mind when he was digging in!)

We are all so in love with our little Joey right now. He's definitely a handful, but his antics are just so cute and his little two-year-old attempts at talking are to die for!
He actually scowls and growls a lot. It's pretty funny. Here is one of his scowls.

Opening presents (can't the picture to flip)

 Love my sweet Joe!
Happy Birthday!!

Elise's Blessing

We blessed Elise on June 3, 2012 in our ward. It was a wonderful day and, as you can see, she was a perfect, beautiful little angel :)

I know these are a million pictures all of her from slightly different angles, but I do these posting for the blog books I print later and I want them all! So you'll have to suffer through.

I can't believe those are all mine! I love this picture! (and as you can see from the following pictures, getting them all to sit still and look at the camera is almost a laughable event)

Elise's big brothers couldn't be more crazy about her. It's a fight all day to see who gets to hold her.

 Love her!

Luke is 4!!!

My little Luke turned 4! I can't believe it!

He started off his birthday festivities at school where they did a spot light and made a big about him. As you can see by the look on his face, he did not mind the attention at all ;)

Later that day we got together with all of Luke's grandparents. We opened all is presents before heading off the Chuck e Cheese.

And now for the highlight of the day: Chuck e Cheese (what is it with kids and Chuck e Cheese?! Man they love it!)
Elise didn't quite get what all the fuss was about

But Joey sure loved it!
And of course the big boys were in heaven :)

Later that week we had a little party for Luke with all his friends.
The Theme: Captain America

Captain American, himself!
And his cupcakes

(A secret: Captain America is an easy theme this time of year--4th of July decorations are plentiful, and work perfectly for the occasion :)
All the guests

Opening presents

Even Elise dressed for the occasion :)

Joey had his fun running around after the big kids

Time for the scavenger hunt!

The final prize? The Pinata!

And finally cupcake time.
Happy Birthday, Luke!
