Elise 19 to 21 Months

This is my baby girl for the last three months. These aren't in any order because, well, it just takes too long to do and I'm in a hurry. :)

Guess what. She continues to be the cutest thing going. I know, shocking to hear ;) Man we love her. More and more, my sole purpose has become simply to not spoil her rotten and to stop each male member of the household to also refrain from such things. Especially now that she has a little voice to aid in making her demands known! Saying "no" to her gets harder and harder!

She certainly has found her will and her voice to demand things. It can take some effort to understand her, but it's well worth it. Her "no!" and "go away!" are pretty clear though. And pretty cute. Come on, with three big brothers you know those had to be some of the first words she would master. ;)  Of course, as with all toddlers, it's all in their little voices and the way they say it. When she gets very serious and says "no" or something of that sort, it's hard to keep a straight face 'cuz it's just that cute :)

The way she says things, at her age, is the cutest. One of my favorite things is how she adds an "n" to the end of everything. Mikey is "Miken," nuggets, are "nuggens." It's pretty cute. One of her favorite games is that she will pretend (or maybe she's trying for real...not sure?) kick you and then immediate say "sorry!" and laugh. She thinks it's so funny. And actually, it is pretty funny. :)

Anyway, here are the millions of pictures!

Like I said, the boys all love her and live to entertain her. She loves riding around in the stroller and Luke is happy to comply, along with piling all the stuffed animals on her that he can find. She loves it :)

She actually still mostly sits in her highchair because I'm keeping her there as long as possible! But she gets a chance at the big kid table every so often and loves it. She also gets in moods where she just really doesn't want to wear clothes. So we comply when we can (basically when we aren't going anywhere).

More brothers willing to push her around :)

Just a cute day :)

Before we had Elise's strawberry costume for Halloween, she needed a costume for the Halloween party at my gym. We found the boys' old shark costume, and what do you know? She looked darling in it. ;)

Though the boys all love her and love to play with her, sometimes the ways in which they play, aren't exactly approved by moi! On this day, Joey used her as a coloring book. This doesn't even look as bad it initially did. He definitely thought the markers should be lipstick and her mouth was absolutely dripping with marker. I had to wipe that up STAT!

We were having the carpets cleaned so all the furniture was in the kitchen. Elise found it created the perfect little private play area for her.

Elise trying to fill daddy's shoes ;)

Speaking of daddy....
You might say she's a fan.... ;)

There's my statue and my strawberry :)

I helped out at Mikey's class Halloween party. Elise had to tag along. She didn't mind. Her mouth is filled with Skittles ;)

Yes, this was taken in church. She just looked so cute! I couldn't resist :)

Another cute day ;)

Helping dad with the tree! (More Christmas pictures to come.)

Our New Toy

Oh boy. Yes, we did this....

The big giant crane showed up at our house.

Then another truck showed up with the item in question aboard and the show began.

From the front of the house...

To the back of the house...

And all the way down.

And there it is. Yes, we got a hot tub. :)

Everyone ready to go for the first dip!

Thanksgiving in Vegas

Due to scheduling with other in-law families, our family did a Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night. This left us free of extended family activities for the remainder of the week. So we wanted to take the kids on a quick, slightly warmer, trip. Vegas is a pretty good option, so off we went! We left Thanksgiving morning and had a pretty easy-going drive.

First of all, we stayed at Trump International and they gave all the kids sunglasses at check in. Thus the glasses in all the pictures!

The Bellagio Atrium decked out Fall style. Always so darling. :)

Seeing the fountains.

The Ethel M Chocolate Factory in Henderson has this huge cactus garden that they deck out in Christmas lights this time of year. It was pretty cool! Of course a flashing camera doesn't really capture it, so you'll have to take my word for it. :)

Guess how Elise feels about large, dressed up characters...?

Her face says it all :) Poor thing. It was pure torture.

It was even warm enough to swim all afternoon. The kids loved that, of course!

The lighting was perfect when I was capturing Elise, so I went a little crazy. Like always. :)

(Luke wouldn't stop and pose for me, the little stinker ;)

The last night we did a little buffet, Pirate, and Mirage Volcano action.

That is Joey asleep in the stroller. He woke up long enough to see the volcano show and then spent the next three days asking to see it again.
