So the boys' hair was getting a little longer than we like (mostly Mikey's. He just can't get away with longer hair). Add swimming every day and it was just a straw-like mess. However, for the first time ever they were fighting, tooth and nail, to NOT cut it. Finally, we told them they could have mohawks until Sunday if we cut it. They agreed. ;)
We forgot to get a before picture for Mikey, but the after was great :)
Luke's hair wasn't nearly as soft as it looks. Straw. Remember?
The saddest thing about cutting Luke's hair is that in the summer it turns into the most beautiful, golden color you have ever seen. Seriously. They need to bottle this stuff.
See what I mean?
Golden.
Well worth sacrificing the golden locks.
They had a few days of swim team and swimming meet with the mohawks. I'm pretty sure their coach was THIS close to having the whole team get mohawks. He would run and stand them up every time he got a second. It was awesome.

Bye-bye, Mohawks :(
Thanks, coach Sam! (Obviously, Mikey had started football by the time the closing swimming party came rolling around.)
