Mohawks and Swim Team

So the boys' hair was getting a little longer than we like (mostly Mikey's. He just can't get away with longer hair). Add swimming every day and it was just a straw-like mess. However, for the first time ever they were fighting, tooth and nail, to NOT cut it. Finally, we told them they could have mohawks until Sunday if we cut it. They agreed. ;)

We forgot to get a before picture for Mikey, but the after was great :)

Luke's hair wasn't nearly as soft as it looks. Straw. Remember?

The saddest thing about cutting Luke's hair is that in the summer it turns into the most beautiful, golden color you have ever seen. Seriously. They need to bottle this stuff.

See what I mean?

Golden.

Well worth sacrificing the golden locks.

They had a few days of swim team and swimming meet with the mohawks. I'm pretty sure their coach was THIS close to having the whole team get mohawks. He would run and stand them up every time he got a second. It was awesome.

Love those goofy kids

Bye-bye, Mohawks :(

Thanks, coach Sam! (Obviously, Mikey had started football by the time the closing swimming party came rolling around.)

Park City family trip!

It was up to Park City for the Moss Family reunion again. So much fun! So few pictures taken :( But it's always an adventure trying to get all the children in one picture :)

It looks like they are screaming...because they are screaming. They are screaming "cheese!"

Elise, Maddie, and ice cream. What could be better?

Cheers!

Maddie's slighy goth-looking eyes are thanks to her mother's mascara she encountered earlier in the day. And Elise's topless status is HER mother's desire to keep the item ice cream free

And the third musketeer, Eliza makes an appearance.

Ben and Luke. You cannot tear these two apart!

What's a family reunion without a few card games. Look at those boys, so serious about their cards....

And a couple of kids hanging out on the porch. Man, next year I am going to be so much better with taking pictures!

We're just always having so much fun, I forget to stop and take pictures! :)

4th of July

4th of July fireworks!

First they threw those little white firecracker snaps

Then, of course it was time for sparklers

Then we all sat and watched the daddy firework show :)

Love his cute little face!
