Our best friends came from Cali for a little visit. It's our favorite :)

These two little polar opposites....

I kind of love seeing the pictures BEFORE we get them to actually smile.

Cuz they're awesome ;)

And cuz then they get there and it's so cute :)

These two little (future) love birds....

Who are such great besties right now ;)

And these two little crazies....

We always forget to take more pictures of us actually doing stuff! Next time.... ;)

10 Years!

That's right, folks. We made it 10 years! We wanted to take a big trip, but we couldn't decide on Paris, Rome, or NYC...so we decided to do them all! Vegas is so perfect that way ;)

This post is kind of boring. Welcome to our massive collection of selfies.

We were there on July 4th and staying a Caesar's Palace. They did not disappoint with the show! (Even though we are quite disappointing with this up-the-nose shot. You're welcome.)

The pools at Caesar's are GORGEOUS!

We also saw Cirque du Soleil "One" (The Michael Jackson show.) It was amazing. Especially awesome was 20 minutes before it was over when I looked at my phone and saw like 11 missed calls from home, including one message. Lance slipped out to call home to see what the emergency was. It was Mikey. He had figured out how to change the time on his watch. The message left on my phone was 3 minutes long detailing this process. At least he still wants to talk to us about his life, right? ;)

See? New York City ;)

Can't go to Vegas without seeing the fountains!

Caesar's Palace was awesome! Here's to the next 10! (And 10 more after that. And 10 more after that. And 10 more after that....you get the picture ;)

The 24th of July

Neighborhood 24th of July Parade!

 Everyone getting ready!

 So excited for the parade!

Last day with the Mohawks!

 Could they be any cuter?!

Finally the parade! (Yes, my job is to stay home and cheer for them. But I don't mind :)

Mohawks and Swim Team

So the boys' hair was getting a little longer than we like (mostly Mikey's. He just can't get away with longer hair). Add swimming every day and it was just a straw-like mess. However, for the first time ever they were fighting, tooth and nail, to NOT cut it. Finally, we told them they could have mohawks until Sunday if we cut it. They agreed. ;)

We forgot to get a before picture for Mikey, but the after was great :)

Luke's hair wasn't nearly as soft as it looks. Straw. Remember?

The saddest thing about cutting Luke's hair is that in the summer it turns into the most beautiful, golden color you have ever seen. Seriously. They need to bottle this stuff.

See what I mean?

Golden.

Well worth sacrificing the golden locks.

They had a few days of swim team and swimming meet with the mohawks. I'm pretty sure their coach was THIS close to having the whole team get mohawks. He would run and stand them up every time he got a second. It was awesome.

Love those goofy kids

Bye-bye, Mohawks :(

Thanks, coach Sam! (Obviously, Mikey had started football by the time the closing swimming party came rolling around.)
