Luke Parker Bastian
Yes, the wait is over. He has a name! We literally filled in the name on the paperwork as we were walking out the door and handing it to the nurse. But we are happy and so is Mikey since he can say it perfectly (well, the Luke part anyway. Maybe not the rest.)
Luke is doing remarkably well and we are loving having another special addition to the family. He eats like a champ and with my Milk coming in today he is going even longer between feedings. Mikey continues to get excited over him every time he sees him, but gets very frustrated when he's not allowed to "pat" him as hard as he wants or walk around the house while holding him.

It was so nice for all of his cousins in town to visit him in the hospital. Here is little Abigail with Luke.
And little Amanda was so good at holding him. (She is at least willing to sit down. Mikey always wants to walk around holding him)

Luke is such a cute name! I can't believe that giant baby boy was sitting in you when we went to lunch on Tuesday! I can't tell yet who he looks like, or if he looks like Mikey even--that will be fun to see. I'm glad Mikey likes him and glad you guys are all okay! Good luck!
OH, what a wonderful big manly name - Luke. We love it. And even more so we love HIM! He is just a great addition to your family and ours! We're proud of Mikey as a big brother, too!

When I told the boys about their new cousin, Matthew asked if we could call him Luke Skywalker. Then we decided that Luke Skyparker was better. So that's who got blessed in our prayer tonight. :))

Hooray little Luke is here! He looks just adorable. Have fun, they grow up WAY too fast...as you stated with your Mikey.

I was wondering if any noticed in the last picture on the bottom of this Post, that Mikey and Luke and sleeping in exactly the same positions - mirror image of each other. They have the frog legs and the exact opposite arm positions. Pretty amazing... or is that just something a Grandmother would notice?
